Let’s see…I am a kindergarten teacher at a Dual Language Title I school, a mother and mother-in-law, a wife, a Taurus, a scrapbooker, a reader, an occasional runner, a wannabe yogi, and an amateur artist. I am currently reading anything by Gail Carriger (she’s fun!), watching Shadow Hunters (based on books I love), and love using essential oils (check out my doTerra site here: http://mydoterra.com/thehealthyteacher). I love my career, my family, Ed Sheeran’s music, owls, mustaches, polkadots, and my Boston terriers.
Why the dogs in the logo? I have 2 Boston terriers – Izzy and Gimli. My teaching partner has a boxer – Dodger. Together their initials spell DIG. I teach the English side of our Dual Language program and my partner teaches the Spanish side (she’s AMAZING). Since our dogs are a big part of inspiring our kinders to write in our classrooms, it seemed fitting that they are a part of my online journey as well.
